Check-in at a booked hotel, apartment or room. Upon arrival you will receive a Welcome Package containing information about the territory and proposals for your visits to the Cinque Terre. Today you hike on one of the most beautiful trails of the Cinque Terre, the panoramic trail from Corniglia via Volastra to Manarola. It leads through the marvellous vineyards on terrace fields, built and maintained by the local winegrowers. In the afternoon you have an appointment at a tasting room or wine bar and ancient wine cellar in Manarola, where you have a wine tasting of 3 local wines. Dinner at leisure. (T)

Hike on an ancient pilgrimage path from the picturesque village of Vernazza up to the sanctuary of Madonna di Reggio. Thereafter the path continues offering wonderful views over the sea through the Mediterranean shrub land until the sanctuary of Madonna di Soviore. The trail ends in Monterosso, the largest village of the Cinque Terre which has a beautiful beach. Dinner at leisure.

Day at leisure to just relax, or see our itinerary suggestions:
• Hike the spectacular trail from Riomaggiore to Portovenere (approx 5 hours). Enjoy a varied path and an incomparable panorama over the steep coast of the southern part of the Cinque Terre coast. Return by public ferry boat.
• Hike around the Palmaria Island with beautiful views to Portovenere and over the Gulf of Poets.
• Hike around the Levanto Valley, crossing olive groves and ancient hamlets.

Comfort Option - Relais A Cà du Gigante 3* (Monterosso)
This Relais property is located in the centre of the newer part of Monterosso al Mare, one of the villages of Cinque Terre UNESCO World Heritage. It is an ideal starting point for guests wishing to discover the Ligurian East and West Coast, because it is near to the train station. It also offers a few garages for guests only, which must be booked in advance. The hotel is located only 2 minutes walking time from one of the most beautiful sandy beaches of the area and also small shops and a focaccia bakery are very close. The Relais offers some Standard Rooms and a Suite. Located in the Dependance are the Sea View Luxury Rooms and in another building few steps away, they offer an Apartment.
The Rooms
Suite 'Punta du Mesco' and the Double Standard Room for Single Use that are included in the package price are located in the main part of the hotel. The Luxury Sea View Room offered for twin share with a supplement is located in the annex of the hotel.
Standard Option - Hotel Marina Piccola 3* (Manarola)
For those who prefer the comfort of a 3-star hotel we offer a formula with breakfast in Manarola. The hotel is situated in a unique location at the picturesque harbour of Manarola. The two buildings of the hotel, once fisherman’s houses, have been transformed into a hotel in the 70’s and have been renovated in 2014. The 13 rooms are luminous and furnished elegantly and tastefully. Some rooms have a fantastic sea view. All the rooms have A/C, telephone, WiFi and safe, as well as an ensuite bathroom with hair dryer and courtesy set. The Restaurant Marina Piccola has a beautiful veranda with sea view and serves fish and sea food specialities. The hotel is easy to reach from the Train Station, 5 minutes walking distance, as well as from the parking, 10-15 minutes walking distance.
Standard Option - Hotel Cinque Terre 3* (Monterosso)
For those who would prefer to stay in Monterosso, we can offer the comfort of a 3-star hotel. Run by family members, the Hotel Cinque Terre is located in the biggest of the five villages, at a unique location close to the sea - it is only a few steps away from the sandy beach of Monterosso. Its 53 rooms are warm and welcoming, all giving access to two private gardens. The hotel is easy to reach from the train station, 5 minutes walking distance.
Standard Option - Self Catering Apartment (Manarola)
Alternatively we offer some nice self-catering apartments, mainly studio flats, with fully equipped kitchen, double bed and bathroom. All apartments are located in the village of Manarola. Apartments included in the package are: Casa Orti 2, Ines, Albarola, Belvedere, Le Coste.
Standard Option - Room (Manarola or Riomaggiore)
We offer accommodation in rooms in the village of Manarola and Riomaggiore. The rooms are located in the town centre within few minutes walking distance to the restaurants, bars and shops. All rooms have a private bathroom, and some also have a balcony and a sea view.
Notes
▪ Price changes of entrance fees or public transportation services (Cinque Terre Card) and local taxes are beyond our control. In case of increases by local council, these additional costs will be passed on to all guests.
▪ The tour can be booked all year round. Best period for hiking is from March to June and from September to October. In summertime, because of high temperatures, the central hours of the day are not recommended for hiking. Cinque Terre footpaths are narrow and often very steep and with lots of stairs. You need to be fit and bring suitable clothes and shoes for hiking.
