A small town, located in the interior of Korčula Island. Home to the second longest linden tree alley in Europe, stretching the length of the whole town. Small churches and chapels, immersed in vineyards and olive groves, are dotting the landscape; the oldest ones dating back to the 14th century. The town’s biggest export throughout history was wine, still evident by the stone grape terraces erected on the surrounding hills.
