TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1, Wednesday:  Zagreb

Clients must arrive in Zagreb by 3.00pm in order to join the sightseeing tour of Zagreb
Transfer on the day of the tour from Zagreb airport or another hotel in Zagreb to the tour hotel. Upon arrival, take part in a sightseeing tour of Zagreb, the Croatian capital, during which you will have the occasion to see the fortified Upper Town, the City’s historical centre, St Mark’s church with multi-coloured roof, the Cathedral, Croatian National Theatre and University. Dinner and overnight in Zagreb. (D)

Day 2, Thursday:  Zagreb – Plitvice – Trogir – Split

Depart this morning to Plitvice National Park, inscribed on the List of World Heritage Sites. Walk on the wooden promenades to view majestic waters where every turn leads to breathtaking scenery. Surrounded by dense woods Plitvice Lakes are a natural phenomenon of rare and unique beauty. Departure to Split with a short stop in yet another one of the UNESCO protected sites, the small town of Trogir. St. Lawrence’s Cathedral, located in the old city centre, and its main western portal – masterpiece of Radovan, represent the most significant work of the Romanesque-Gothic style in Croatia. Dinner and overnight in Split. (B, D)

Day 3, Friday:  Split – Dubrovnik

After breakfast a guided tour of Split will uncover the streets of the UNESCO protected Diocletian’s Palace from the 3rd/4th Century with its charming little secrets, the Peristyle Jupiter’s Temple and Cathedral. Departure to Dubrovnik driving along the newly built Dalmatina highway through the Dalmatian hinterland. Upon arrival, city tour of Dubrovnik, the UNESCO protected pearl of the Adriatic, with a visit of its Cathedral. Dinner and overnight in Dubrovnik. (B, D)

Day 4, Saturday:  Dubrovnik

Today is free for your leisure. Enjoy the beautiful pebble beaches, explore the Old Town and its famous walls, or join us for one of the many excursions to the surrounding areas. Dinner and overnight in Dubrovnik. (B, D)

Day 5, Sunday:  Dubrovnik

Transfer on the day of the tour to Dubrovnik airport, port or hotel. (B)
