The favourite island of jet-set, whose old traditional beautiful stone houses and mansions silently witness to a long and turbulent history. The small narrow stone paved streets await you to explore them on foot or by the island’s traditional ‘vehicle’ the saddled donkeys. Captivating walks along the old seaside promenade crystal clear waters, radiant fine craft shops and the beauty of Hydra will conquer you! Our stay in Hydra is about 2 hours. Next island is Poros. Although it is smallest of the three islands, its attraction is the narrow strait offering a most enchanting view of the town of Poros. Our stay in Poros is about 1 hour. Our last stop is the island of Aegina. The largest of the three islands. Apart from its harbor, there is optional organized tour by A/C coach, visiting the Temple of Afea (archaeological site) or the Church of Saint Nektarios. The above mentioned tours are optional and are paid directly on the spot. Our stay in Aegina is about 2 hours. Lunch will be served on board. Day 3, Sunday: Athens

Breakfast at the hotel. Meet your guide at the lobby of the hotel and start the sightseeing tour of Athens. You will see the most important monuments and sites of the city. Visit the Acropolis and the Parthenon Temple and the National Archaeological Museum, rich and famous for its treasures. Continue a tour with a drive along the coastal road, passing the wonderful beaches of Glyfada, Vouliagmeni and Varkiza to the most Southern point of Attica, Cape Sounion, where the white marble pillars of the Temple of Poseidon stand. In an idyllic position overlooking the Aegean Sea enjoy a splendid view of the Saronic Gulf and the little islands offshore. According to the legend, Cape Sounion is the spot where Aegeus, king of Athens, leapt to his death off the cliff, thus giving his name to the Aegean Sea. The story goes that Aegeus, anxiously looking out from Sounion, despaired when he saw a black sail on his son Theseus’s ship, returning from Crete. This led him to believe that his son had been killed in his contest with the dreaded Minotaur, a monster that was half man and half bull. He had agreed with his father that if he survived the contest, he would hoist a white sail. In fact, Theseus had overcome and slain the Minotaur, but tragically had simply forgotten about the white sail. After visiting the Temple of Poseidon, time at leisure. Return to Athens late in the afternoon for dinner and overnight. (B, D)

Day 4, Monday: Athens – Corinth – Epidaurus – Nafplion – Mycenae – Olympia

Breakfast at the hotel. Embark the coach and drive by the coastal road to the Corinth Canal. Then proceed to the town of Nafplion, after Nafplion drive on to Mycenae, one of the major centres of Greek civilization in the second millennium BC with its Acropolis, the Palace and the famous Lion Gate. You will also visit the Tomb of Agamemnon which is one of the many ‘beehive’ tombs in the vicinity of the ancient site of Mycenae. It is by far the best preserved of these tholos tombs. Early afternoon departure to Olympia for dinner and overnight at the hotel. (B, D)

While at the site, visit the Treasury of the Athenians, the Temple of Apollo and the Museum.
