One of the oldest festivals in Europe, the spectacular Dubrovnik Summer Festival will host over 80 Croatian and international music, theatre and dance performances over seven summer weeks. In it’s 66th edition, over 2000 artists will perform rich and vibrant shows at venues such as St. Blaise’s Church, and the Rector’s Palace.

Gnam Gnam Fest is a gourmet food festival that brings together a total of ten events with each one being dedicated to one of the culinary specialities of the region. To experience the seafood of the Adriatic be there on the 3rd of July or the 7th of August. On the 12th of September you will have the opportunity to try the cuisine of continental Istria. The festival will conclude in October (17th to 18th) with the dedicated Mushroom Days that will include mushroom picking, and of course a tasting of a variety of traditional dishes.

The Sinjska Alka is a chivalric tournament that takes place annually, in the town of Sinj. During the tournament, knights ride horses at full gallop along a main street, aiming lances at an iron ring hanging on a rope. Participants must be members of local families of Sinj and the Cetinska Krajina region.
