Split Walking Tour

A walking tour of Split, boasting a 17-century long history, will cover the city’s most important historic sights. The Diocletian’s Palace with its cellars, dating from the 3rd century, the Peristyle, the Golden and Silver Gates, the Cathedral and Jupiter’s Temple are only part of the city’s wealth of historic monuments.

Tour departs from the entrance to the Diocletian Palace cellars at the time listed below. The cellar entrance is located on the south (harbour) side of the palace off the Riva walking promenade. Your guide will be standing by the entrance with a sign that says “EuroAdria” We ask all guests to be at the departure location at least 10 minutes before departure for check in.

Split Bus Tour

Split is a town of ancient history, built and preserved over the course of 1700 years by its loving inhabitants. But, that is only the heart of a city far more interesting. The only way to experience Split as a whole, beyond the walls of Diocletian’s Palace, is on our open-top live-guided sightseeing tours. On this tour you can see the places that ordinary tours would never show you.

It starts from the Promenade and includes a panoramic drive besides the sandy beach of Bačvice, sports facilities built for the Mediterranean Olympic Games (Sport centre Gripe, Football stadium) and museums (Maritime, Archeological, Mestrovic Gallery).

The drive continues along the slopes of Marjan hill, covered in a dense Mediterranean pine forest and completely surrounded by the city and the sea, making it a unique sight. From the slopes of Marjan you can enjoy amazing sight of the islands, untouched nature and smell of Mediterranean herbs. The tour finishes in the city centre (promenade).

Grand Diocletian Tour (Bus + Walking Tour)

This tour is composed of 2 parts:
1) Hop on/Hop off bus tour around the modern part of the city – duration 1 hour
The open top bus will start from the Promenade and drive around the modern part of the city (sights enlisted above in Split Tour by Open Bus). During the tour you will be provided with a live speaking commentary.
2) Walking tour in Diocletian Palace (old city) – duration 1 hour
After the bus tour you get off in the city centre (Promenade) and go with the local guide on a walking tour of Diocletian Palace, the most precious monument in our city, protected by UNESCO.

Game Of Thrones – Klis

Enter the city of the Meereen, follow the steps of Daenerys “Stormborn” Targaryen.
Climb the fortresses of Klis and see the cliffs where Dragons were.
On this tour we visit the Klis fortress and Diocletian palace, walk the streets and cellars of this ancient city where the filming of the famous HBO series Game of Thrones took place. Our experienced guide takes you beneath the city were Unsullied Army and Queen Daenerys prepares to conquer the World.

Once you are at the pier please walk straight to Diocletian palace and famous Split walking promenade called “Riva”.
Your guide will be waiting for you at the entrance to Diocletian palace cellars holding a sign that says “EuroAdria/Elite Travel”.
Entrance to Diocletian palace cellars is placed on the side of the palace looking towards sea and port of Split.
Guests are obligated to come to a tour departure point by themselves.

Split & Trogir 

Split is situated on a peninsula and surrounded by historical towns and settlements.
We shall take a walk through the 4th-century Diocletian’s Palace to visit its ancient Cellars, Peristyle, Roman temples (today Christian ones), Cathedral and Baptistery, and then the famous Golden Gate. After sightseeing of the town of Split and free time for individual exploring we start our bus ride towards Trogir, a small town under the cultural protection of the UNESCO.
Trogir arose from the ancient Tragurion, and is full of buildings and monuments testifying to its rich history. There stands the Cathedral with its famous portal by the well-known local master Radovan, the City Loggia from the 15th century, the Cipiko palace, the Town Hall, and the Benedictine monastery from the year 1064, where a Greek relief is kept representing Kairos (the God of auspicious moment).

Split & Salona 

In the ancient city of Salona, just 6km from Split, you can meet the history of ancient Rome. Salona was a stronghold and a harbour of the Illyrian Delmati which quite early came under the influence of the Greeks on the Adriatic. Julius Caesar, who was then the governor of Illyricum, gave it rank of a colony (Colonia Martia Julia Salona) – the centre of the province of Illyricum and afterwards of the province of Dalmatia. It has developed into a cosmopolitan centre of the Adriatic with more than 60,000 inhabitants. After sightseeing with the local guide, we proceed to Split.

Salona & Trogir 

The archaeological site of Salona is one of the richest Roman sites in Croatia. In the ancient times, it was the capital city of the Roman province of Dalmatia, situated on the crossroads of sea and land routes of the ancient Mediterranean. On this sight you can feel the Roman and early Christian spirit that takes you back in the past as you are walking next to the old Basilica Urbana, its baptistery, theatre, Forum and the old Christian cemetery, Manastirine. Visiting one of the three Roman amphitheatres on the east Adriatic coast gives you the chance to experience the emotions of the ancient gladiators standing in the middle of this spectacular construction. In front of the Tusculum, a beautiful yard where you will have a chance to rest and enjoy beautiful and peaceful atmosphere. After sightseeing with the local guide we proceed to Trogir.
Trogir (under UNESCO protection since 1997) grew from the ancient Tragurion, abounding in buildings and monuments testifying to its rich history. Dubrovnik with its walled Old Town is one of the most visited and photographed destinations in all of Europe. In the Middle Ages, it was known as the Republic of Ragusa, maritime state so powerful it rivalled even Venice. Like Diocletian’s Palace in Split, Dubrovnik is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. Famed for its wonderful Renaissance architecture, red tile roofs and its 2km long walls, that successfully resisted the attacks of different enemies for centuries, Dubrovnik is a must-see Croatian experience. Walk down Stradun, Old Town’s main promenade, visit the Franciscan Monastery with one of the oldest pharmacies in the world. Discover splendid Rector’s Palace & Lovrjenac Fortress and the many squares and churches of this wondrous city.

Island Tour Brač

This tour will reveal the charm of the island of Brač, the third largest among the Adriatic islands. Departing from Supetar we drive towards Škrip to visit the archeological and ethnographical collection. After a short drive our next goal is Pučišća to see how the Brač stone is quarried, and to visit the famous stone mason workshop and school.

Continuing our pleasent drive trough the island we arrive to Bol. There will be plenty of time for swimming and relaxing on the most attractive beach on the Adriatic coast – the Zlatni Rat. On our way back we will also go to the highest peak of the island, Vidova Gora (778m), to enjoy the magnificent view of Bol and the surounding islands.

Vis & Hvar Islands

After one and a half hour of navigating we arrive at Biševo, island whose highlight is the Blue Cave. We will visit this natural phenomenon around 1100hrs which is an ideal moment. At this time of the day the sunlight reflected through the water comes from the white floor of the cave and bathes the cave in aquamarine light, while objects in the water appear to be silver. After seeing the cave we proceed to Komiža, a small fisherman’s village on the Island of Vis. There will be a plenty of time for sightseeing and time to have lunch. In the late afternoon we set sail around the southern side of the Island and stop briefly in the unique bay of Stiniva.

Afterwards we reach the Green Cave, characterized by the fissure on the top through which a light passes and leaves marks in the sea. The cave is spacious, and the depth varies from 3 to 5 meters so the boat can get in and we can swim inside. Our next destination is the town of Hvar, one of the most beautiful harbours in the world. We let you to get acquainted with the town by yourselves. After this unique experience, unfortunately it is time to return to our main port.

Kornati National Park

NP Kornati covers 140 islands and islets in one of the most beautiful waters of the Adriatic Sea, especially suitable for sailing. It is the bluest corner of the Adriatic where the blue colour of the sea stands out even more in contrast with white-gray rocky ground which prevails on the islands. With its exceptionally clear sea, torrents of sunshine, numerous inlets, bays and small ports Kornati are a must destination on your wanderings over the Adriatic. This archipelago became National Park in 1980 due to its stunning beauty, geomorphology and preserved eco systems. This trip is a combination of land and sea. Our first stop is a small fisherman village Vodice, 13km north of Šibenik. From that point we start our boat adventure accompanied with lunch, live music, visit of Telaščica (nature park) and swimming in the salt water Lake Mir.

Sea Kayaking From Split 

Watching from sea level the 1700-year-old palace of Roman emperor Diocletian will provide you a remarkable experience of the Adriatic port of Split. The biggest city from both sides of the Adriatic gives a lot of opportunities for you to explore, not actually going far away from city centre.

Starting from the western side of the port your kayaking tour will proceed towards the southern side of Split’s park forest Marjan. Your tour along the coast will include the area of the Kastelet with the gallery of the famous Croatian sculptor Ivan Mestrovic and the villa Dalmatia that once belonged to later Yugoslav communist leader Tito. The kayaking tour will also pass close to the Maritime research institute and the bay of Bene and back with a drink at the area of the Institute.

Paddling along the coast is to show you a touch of nature and the Mediterranean architecture dominated with the Diocletian’s palace that is under protection of UNESCO.

Rafting From Split 

Rafting on the Cetina River is the most popular and most attended adventurous trip in Dalmatia.

Rafting in the protected area of the river canyon attracts many tourists every summer. The quiet parts of the river and the second and third grade rapids enable a three hour combination of adventure and relaxation in the amazing Cetina river canyon.

Kayaking towards Pakleni Islands, in front of Hvar will let you experience one of the best parts of the Adriatic. Islands and their preserved environment, with crystal clear sea will let you experience the real Mediterranean. This spot is regularly visited by Hollywood stars, but they usually do it with big, expensive yachts, rarely experiencing what simple kayaking gives you, and that is pure joy. Krka & Šibenik From Split 

The town of Sibenik was founded more than a thousand years ago, and today it is a harmonious combination of the old part with its narrow and steep streets and the new part with its modern architecture. The most important monument is the Gothic-Renaissance cathedral of St. Jacob located in the central town square. By its beauty, construction particularities and style characteristics, it represents not only the major and the most valuable monument of the town’s architectural heritage, but it is also a unique monument of the European sacral architecture, included in the UNESCO’ s World Heritage list in 2001.

After the visit of the town of Sibenik, our ride continues through the karst hinterland region of the Sibenik Riviera to the famous Krka Waterfalls. Located in a beautiful natural setting Krka River forms magnificent waterfalls cascading over 17 natural barriers. The natural beauties here reach their climax in a perpetual play of water and sun. Leisure time for strolling and taking photographs of the wonderful landscape.

Plitvice Lakes 

Situated in a thick forest, Plitvice Lakes are considered one of the most beautiful natural phenomena in the world.

Sixteen lakes, connected by 92 waterfalls, cascade through its picturesque surrounding. Plitvice Lakes were declared a National Park in 1949, and since 1979, they have been on the UNESCO’s List of World Natural Heritage.

The park’s attractions also include several caves and a great variety of flora and fauna. A guided tour of the park lasts for about two and a half hours, including both a boat ride and a walking tour.

Međugorje & Mostar

Join our tour to experience the wild beauty of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the sacred atmosphere of Međugorje. Discover and experience the phenomenon that has made Međugorje one of the most renowned pilgrimage sites throughout the Catholic world, attracting millions of visitors from all over the world. Those who want can visit the Mount of Apparition where the Virgin Mary appeared to children in 1981 for the first time.
During your free time, it is possible to visit an authentic ethno village, an interesting collection of popular stone architecture and taste the local food specialties, followed by homemade brandy and wine. We continue our drive along the river valley to Mostar, “a window to the Orient” and an important trade centre during Turkish rule. A guided tour will show us the town highlights, we shall visit the Oriental part of the town with the old Bazaar, full of picturesque shops and workshops, the Mosque and then walk along the legendary Turkish bridge from the 16th century, after which the town was named (most = bridge). We leave Mostar late in the afternoon.

Zipline (Omiš)

Zipline is an adrenaline entertainment where guests descend through the canyon down the steel wire rope, secured with a belt.

Adventure also includes training and a short walk in nature. During the walk, you can enjoy the beautiful, almost untouched nature and stunning views of the Cetina river canyon. Zipline is located 3 km from Omis, in the canyon of the Cetina River and consists of eight wires total length of 2100m. The longest wire is 700m long and it is situated 150m above the ground.

Depending on the size of the group, zipline gives you up to three hours of unforgettable fun and beautiful nature. Before the beginning, the group goes to the training ground and each guest receives equipment.
