Cruising with vintage motor-sailing ships along the magnificent Dalmatian coastline & islands

For this trip all you will need is a few T-shirts and a swimming costume to spend seven unforgettable days sailing on the southern Adriatic Sea from one island to another. Relax and let the captain and his crew (especially the cook) take care of you. During the day you can swim, snorkel, sunbathe, and explore the underworld of the Adriatic Sea. The evenings you have free to find a good restaurant or discover old churches or other historical monuments…

B Category Vessels

are a fun and economical way to enjoy island hopping along the Adriatic – suitable for the 18 – 35 year olds as well as friends or couples who don’t mind sharing a small space for 7 days! Boat sizes vary with most carrying between 20 – 40 people.

•Departures from SPLIT on SATURDAYS at 1.00pm (check in 11.00am)
•B Category cabins are without A/C
•All cabins are bunk beds (below and on deck), shared facilities
•On Deck Cabins are situated on main and top deck
•Compact Cabins with clean bed linen
•No towels supplied, please bring your own towels for personal use
•Towels can be rented for €3 & beach towels €5 per week
•Ships vary in size with most carrying between 20 – 40 passengers
•The Captain reserves the right to change the route in the case of bad weather or other conditions
•Guests must abide by the Ships Rules (copy onboard)
•Cash bar available on board. Drinks cannot be brought onboard
•Departures are guaranteed, but Cruise Company reserves the right to cancel departures with less than 10 participants
•Meal & Drink Supplements are available and can be requested in advance

•This cruise is not suitable for persons with restricted mobility, young children and those unable to swim

CRUISE ITINERARY

Day 1, Saturday:  Split – Makarska

Departure is from Split Harbour at 1.00pm. Cruise along the Dalmatian coast to the Makarska Riviera, one of the most attractive resorts on the Croatian coast. We spend the afternoon swimming at one of the beautiful beaches on the Riviera. Those feeling adventurous can join our White Water Rafting excursion on the Cetina River and meet up with the ship in Makarska for our overnight. (L)

Day 2, Sunday:  Makarska – Island Of Mljet

Depart early morning towards Mljet, with the first stop at the Pelješac Peninsula for a refreshing swim. After the swim we continue to National Park Mljet. The afternoon is free for you to visit the salt lakes in the National Park, and enjoy the sun and sea on this peaceful island. In the middle of the large lake, inside the National park, we can visit an old abbey and church, or just use a small boat to roam around the National park. Overnight is in port of Polača/Pomena. Day 3, Monday:   Island Of Mljet – Dubrovnik

After breakfast we depart for Dubrovnik, which is the highlight of this cruise. On route will be time just for a short swim. Enjoy the beautiful sights along the way towards “the heaven on earth” – according to famous writer George Bernard Shaw. Arrive in Dubrovnik in the afternoon when you can explore on your own or first join our optional guided tour of Dubrovnik with an English speaking guide. Take a walk through Stradun – both a street and a square, a promenade inside the city walls. For those of you with more enthusiasm we recommend a walk on top of the 1,940 m long city walls! We overnight in the port of this magical town. (B, L)

Day 4, Tuesday:  Dubrovnik – Island Of Šipan or Trstenik

This morning is free for you to further explore Dubrovnik – the Pearl of the Adriatic. Around lunch time we leave this magnificent city and continue our cruise towards the Island of Šipan or the little town of Trstenik on the Pelješac peninsula, where we will swim in the afternoon and spend the night. Day 5, Wednesday:  Island Of Šipan or Trstenik – Island Of Korčula

After breakfast we depart for the Island of Korčula, the birthplace of famous explorer Marco Polo. Lunch is on board somewhere in front of Lumbarda. This afternoon is free for you to explore the sights of legendary Korčula. An optional sightseeing tour is available. Overnight is in Korčula town. (B, L)

Day 6, Thursday:  Island Of Korčula – Island Of Hvar

Early in the morning we depart for the Pakleni Islands where we have lunch and time for swimming. We depart for Island of Hvar after lunch. Hvar is the longest island in the Adriatic. Optional tour is available. Here we can find the Renaissance cathedral with its original tower; also the oldest community theatre in Europe founded here in 1612. Hvar town offers plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes that are open long into the night. (B, L)

Day 7, Friday:  Island Of Hvar – Island Of Brač – Split

Our next stop will be the Island of Brač. Swimming is planned at one of the best known beaches in Dalmatia – Zlatni Rat near Bol. After lunch we will start our journey back to Split with another swim-break in one of the many bays on Island of Brač. Enjoy the view of Split Riviera arriving in the late afternoon. Join our optional sightseeing tour and discover an abundance of Roman architecture inside the Diocletian Palace – UNESCO World Heritage Site. (B, L)

Day 8, Saturday:  Split

Cruise ends after breakfast by saying goodbye to the crew and all your new friends. (B)
