ISLAND HOPPING ITINERARY
Day 1: Opatija – Krk Island
Welcome to Croatia! Your Island Hopping adventure starts with a transfer from Opatija to the island of Krk via one of the longest concrete arched bridges in the world. Overnight at the selected hotel in Krk.
Day 2: Krk Island
Krk, is one of the biggest islands in the Adriatic sea. The “Golden Island” as it is called since the ancient times, is characterised by a great diversity of landscapes: the northern part is almost bare because of the strong wind called “bura”, while the southern part abounds with greenness and gentle bays. Enjoy exploring it on your own. (B)
Day 3: Krk Island
After breakfast you will have all day at disposal to carry on own personal activities. Overnight at hotel. (B)
Day 4: Krk Island – Cres Island – Lošinj Island
Today you will be transferred to the pier in Valbiska to embark on the ferry to the island of Cres. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to Mali Lošinj (Lošinj Island) for the overnight at the selected hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. (B)
Day 5: Lošinj Island
Lošinj is a green island boosting lush vegetation especially on its western side. The resort town of Mali Lošinj is said to have the most beautiful harbour in the Adriatic well known since the Austro-Hungarian rule when it became a favorite of the aristocracy. Enjoy exploring Lošinj on your own, or take the opportunity of visiting also the island of Cres (since it is connected to Cres island by a bascule bridge over the 11-m wide artificial canal), and its coves, bays and secluded pebbled beaches. Overnight at the hotel in Mali Lošinj. (B)
Day 6: Lošinj Island
Breakfast at the hotel. All day at disposal to carry on own personal activities. Overnight at hotel. (B)
Day 7: Lošinj Island – Cres Island – Krk Island – Opatija
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the pier in Merag to embark on the ferry to the island of Krk. Upon arrival to Valbiska (Krk island), you will be met and transferred back to the mainland, to Opatija. Overnight at hotel in Opatija. (B)
Day 8: Opatija
Breakfast at the hotel. All day at disposal to carry on own personal activities. Overnight at the hotel. (B)
Day 9: Opatija
Breakfast at the hotel. Today your Kvarner Gulf island hopping adventure ends in Opatija. (B)
