Cruising with vintage motor-sailing ships along the magnificent Kvarner & Dalmatian coastline & islands
Spend seven unforgettable days cruising on the Adriatic Sea and at the same time help preserve the nature by removing trash and other matter from magnificent secluded beaches. During the sail listen to presentations about ecology and nature, visit the ornithology reservation on the island of Cres, adopt a dolphin on island of Lošinj or find out how ancient glass items are made in Zadar.

Category A Important Information:
•Departures from OPATIJA on SATURDAYS at 1.00pm (check in 11.00am)
•A Category cabins are without A/C
•Most cabins are bunk beds (below and on deck), double beds on request basis but not guaranteed
•On Deck Cabins are situated on main and top deck
•Compact Cabins with clean bed linen
•Two towels for personal use supplied
•Towels can be rented for €3 & beach towels €5 per week
•Ships vary in size with most carrying between 20 – 40 passengers
•The Captain reserves the right to change the route in the case of bad weather or other conditions
•Guests must abide by the Ships Rules (copy onboard)
•Cash bar available on board. Drinks cannot be brought onboard
•Departures are guaranteed, but Cruise Company reserves the right to cancel departures with less than 10 participants

CRUISE ITINERARY
Day 1, Saturday: Opatija – Cres (Beli)
At 1pm we will head towards Beli, a small village on the Cres island. We will stop on one of the beaches en route for our first assingment of cleaning it from the trash that piled up during the season. Arrival into Beli and visit the ornithology centre where we will watch and learn about the famous birds – Griffon Vulture. Ornithology reservation centre takes care of injured birds and helps to preserve these endangered species. There is a possibility of connecting to nature by walking on labyrinth paths of the Cres island. Dinner in a restaurant and overnight on board. (L, D)
Day 2, Sunday: Cres – Rab
Breakfast and depart to the island of Rab where we will arrange our second trash removal on one of the beaches. Arrival into Rab followed by a geological tour of the island with an experienced guide. Dinner and overnight on board. (B, L, D)
Day 3, Monday: Rab – Molat or Olib
We leave after breakfast to our next destination “a beach in the wilderness of Molat or Olib” where we will spend whole day and night in peace and tranquillity and see the stars above us like never before. The day is spent cleaning and collecting garbage before and after lunch, and in the evening we enjoy the Captain’s dinner and the special “pirate evening”. (B, L, D)
Day 4, Tueday: Molat or Olib – Zadar
After breakfast we cruise from Molat with a swim and cleaning stop on one of the islands en route, and continue towards Zadar in the afternoon where we spend the night in the port. Optional visit to a newly opened museum of antique glass. The museum displays unique glass works and there is the possibility of viewing the workshop for designing glass. (B, L)
Day 5, Wednesday: Zadar – Vodice
In the morning, we leave for Vodice along the Dalmatian coast. We will have a stop for swimming and for cleaning one of the many beaches. Arrival in Vodice in the evening. Spend an evening at one of the beautiful terraces and restaurants or just stroll along the beautiful beaches of this typical Dalmatian town. (B, L)
Day 6, Thursday: Vodice – Trogir
Depart after breakfast with a swim and cleaning stop in one of the bays and after lunch we visit an old Dalmatian town, Trogir (Greek relief from 4 century was found here). Trogir is sometimes referred to as “miniature Venice” or a floating museum town – as it has masterful architecture. (B, L)
Day 7, Friday: Trogir – Split
As we are near Split, we have almost a whole day to clean the beaches. We will stop in one of the bays on the island of Ciovo (connected to Trogir with a bridge). In late afternoon hours we continue our sail to our last destination port enjoying the beautiful view of Split riviera. Guided tour of this UNESCO protected city follows. In the evening we will have a farewell dinner and award ceremony for your contribution to nature protection. Overnight on board. (B, L, D)
Day 8, Saturday: Split
After breakfast is the end of the program. (B)
