Discover the diversity of the Kvarner bay islands by boat and bike and let your biker heart sing! Take a week on board one of our charming motor boats and sail to the islands of Cres, Lošinj, Molat, Pag, Rab und Krk. Explore the islands by mountain bike during the day. Your tour guide will take you off the beaten track and will show you the hidden gems of the islands while enlightening you with stories of the everyday life of the island dwellers. The hilly to mountainous landscape requires endurance and will see you scaling some demanding ascends. Our aim is to ride off road with the inclusion of some technical single trails which will set a pulsing rhythm to your heartbeat. To save time and energy some ascends will take place on tar sealed roads which lead to rewarding trails down to the sea. After a thorough ride there is no better reward than to unwind in a rustic café or bar while enjoying the ambiance of the harbour towns. The boat is always open and welcomes you to enjoy the atmosphere of a Mediterranean evening on board. Starting in 2016 this tour is offered exclusively as a mountain bike tour, optimized for the athletic requirements of a mountain biker. Every tour is guided by two MTB guides, who will give their best effort to provide tours at varying levels of difficulty.

Day 1, Sunday: Omišalj – Nijvice – Krk

Individual arrival to Omišalj on the island of Krk. Embarkation takes place from 1 to 1:30 pm. At 2 pm we have our first tour around Omišalj to Nijvice. Here you get a first impression of the wild beauty of northern Krk. In Nijvice the bikes are loaded on the boat, where we can relax and enjoy the crossover to the island’s capital Krk, which has a decidedly lovely old town where we have the possibility to participate in a guided city tour in the evening.
Level A & B: Cycle route approx 20km; Level easy/medium

Day 2, Monday: Krk – Baška – Rab

In the morning the ship brings us to Baška on Krk. The landscape around Baška matches that of the moon, created by the steadily blowing north wind; Bura. Today’s tours are characterized by unique panoramic trails on demanding terrain. After an adrenalin filled tour around Baška the boat takes us further on to the Island of Rab, city Rab which again has a lovely old town where we can unwind with a guided walk in the evening.
Level A : Cycle route approx 35km; Level medium
Level B: Cycle route approx 25km; Level easy

Day 3, Tuesday: Rab – Lopar – Rab – Ilovik

The island of Rab is a small but very bold island, with a lot of variety to offer, especially for mountain bikers. The tours run along narrow promenades and flowing Roman paths, meander through the Dundo forest and offer stunning views over the sea and the town of Rab. Technically experienced bikers can test their skills on stony trails. Optionally and in dry conditions, the highest point of the island, the so called Kamenjak with a height of 410 m, can be climbed. In the afternoon the ship takes us to the small island, Illovik. If the weather permits the ship anchors for a swim stop.
Level A : Cycle route approx 40km; Level easy/medium
Level B: Cycle route approx 30km; Level easy

Day 4, Wednesday: Ilovik – Mali Lošinj – Veli Lošinj – Mali Lošinj

During breakfast the ship takes us to the picturesque harbour of Mali Lošinj. The island is made for mountain biking. We bike through pine forests past palm trees and agaves, which fringe the promenade that winds around half of the island and connects the island’s greatest beaches. Those who seek more demanding trails can gather on technical trails and an official downhill track from Sveti Ivan to Veli Lošinj. The former Island capital, Veli Lošinj is smaller than Mali Lošinj nowadays. It lures with ice-cream and coffee for the well-deserved break. In today’s island capital, Mali Lošinj, we can end a great days biking with a sundowner in the evening.
Level A : Cycle route approx 30km; Level easy/medium
Level B : Cycle route approx 25km; Level easy/medium

Day 5, Thursday: Mali Lošinj – Osor – Lubenice – Cres

In the morning we embark on a cruise to Osor, the former capital of the islands Cres and Lošinj. From here we rumble along natural paths and narrow goat trails including flowy passages through Mediterranean woods. If you want to take it easy you’re more than welcome to take the ship to the village, Martinšćica. From there we start descending into the small town of Podil by passing the Vrana Lake, the drinking water supply of the islands Cres and Lošinj. We pop into Claudia’s, where we recuperate ourselves with homemade treats and get to know a very unique style of internet. We continue on wide paths with beautiful views of the bay of Valun to the ship, which awaits us in the city of Cres, where we will spend the night.
Level A : Cycle route approx 50km; Level easy/medium
Level B : Cycle route approx 35km; Level easy

Day 6, Friday: Cres – Opatija – Lovran – Opatija

In the morning the ship brings us to the Opatija Riviera on the Istrian Peninsula. Today a mountainous stage to the Poklon pass awaits us – this week’s master stage. The paved climb on quiet side roads saves energy for the long, varied, in some parts quite technical descend down to the sea. A second version is the technically demanding downhill is via Direttissima to Lovran. In the evening we can enjoy the special flair of Opatija, which is characterized by the Austrian-Hungarian reign and offers plenty of beautiful mansions.
Level A : Cycle route approx 35km; Level medium
Level B : Cycle route approx 30km; Level easy/medium

Day 7, Saturday: Opatija – Malinska – Dobrinj – Omišalj

During breakfast we crossover to the island of Cres. Today we start our last bike tour from Malinska across natural paths and side roads to Dobrinj. You will be rewarded with stunning views of the northern part of the island of Krk. On a clear day you can look back to Učka. Passing one of the many caves of the island, we bike on a narrow path along the coast back to the ship in Omišalj, where we have enough time to walk through the town, go for a swim or relax on board before the trip ends with a cozy get-together.
Level A : Cycle route approx 40km; Level easy/medium
Level B : Cycle route approx 35km; Level easy

Day 8, Sunday: Omišalj
