CRUISE ITINERARY

Day 1, Saturday: Dubrovnik

Day 3, Monday: Dubrovnik – Pomena (Mljet)

After breakfast we sail out on a cruise from Dubrovnik to Pomena, a hidden port on the idyllic Mljet Island. Lunch is served on board. To many people Mljet is an island lost at sea that cannot be easily reached. Do not miss the opportunity to discover the landscape that inhabits the stories of Odysseus, St Paul, Benedictines and Mediterranean monk seal. In the heart of the pine clad island there is a national park, a magnificent phenomenon with two lakes in its centre. Overnight in Pomena. The entrance fee to Mljet National Park is not included. (B, L)

Day 4, Tuesday: Pomena (Mljet) – Jelsa (Hvar)

In the morning hours we set off to Hvar Island. This beautiful island lies between the islands of Brač and Korčula. Hvar’s location at the centre of the Adriatic sailing routes had made this island an important base for trade throughout the wider Mediterranean in the past. After lunch on board, scout the town of Jelsa and the island. Overnight in Jelsa. (B, L)

Day 5, Wednesday: Jelsa (Hvar) – Bol (Brač) – Makarska

After leaving Hvar we cruise towards the Hvar Channel by the best known and the most beautiful beach in the Adriatic – Zlatni Rat (Golden Cape), a natural phenomenon in a shape of a horn on the southern part of Brač Island, just below the highest peak of all the Adriatic islands, Vidova Gora (780m). Lunch is served onboard. In the afternoon, the cruise continues towards Makarska and Mount Biokovo with its magnificent peak of Sv Jure (1,762m) that crowns the Riviera and makes it more recognizable than any other tourist destination in the Adriatic. In the evening, enjoy the rhythms of entertainment in the heart of the town. Overnight in Makarska. (B, L)

Day 6, Thursday: Makarska – Korčula

After breakfast we head to Pelješac Peninsula and onward to Korčula, the town on the island bearing the same name, best known as the birth place of the famous explorer Marco Polo. Within the fortifications and defensive walls, the red roofs extensively remind of the city of Dubrovnik. Meet the centuries old works of stonemasons whose architectural wonders created a very orderly urban plan. Lunch is served onboard. Overnight in Korčula. (B, L)

Day 7, Friday: Korčula – Trstenik – Slano

Today we sail along the biggest peninsula in Dalmatia, Pelješac Peninsula, known for its slopes that gave names to the best red wines, Postup and Dingač, of the sort called Plavac Mali (Small Blue) with a stop to Trstenik. Further down the Mljet Strait, we will come to the Elaphiti Archipelago, a group of 14 islands and islets. Lunch and swimming breaks. Late afternoon will see us in Slano with overnight. (B, L)

Day 8, Saturday: Slano – Lopud – Dubrovnik
