ITINERARY

Day 1: Zagreb

Upon arrival in Zagreb you will be transferred to your hotel. The balance of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Zagreb.

Day 2: Zagreb

Start your day with the visit of Zagreb, take a walk through the historical center of “Gornji Grad” with its famous Cathedral from XIII century, the upper town is connected with the rest of the city with a funicular. Do not miss St. Marco church, St. Catherine church, the Parliament and the Government palace. Overnight in Zagreb. (B)

Day 3: Zagreb – Plitvice Lakes – Split

Travel inland to spectacular Plitvice Lakes National Park (UNESCO site). Have your camera ready as you take a walking tour around several of the lower lakes. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder of 16 terraced lakes surrounded by thickly wooded mountains and lush vegetation. After visiting the park continue to Split, the biggest city in Dalmatia and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the rich cultural and monumental heritage of this 1,700-year old city on your own: view remnants of the city’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, and its contemporary attractions. Overnight in Split. (B)

Day 4: Split – Hvar

Today you will be transferred to the Split pier to embark on the catamaran to Hvar. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your selected hotel in Hvar. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Hvar. (B)
Note: Catamarans depart in the morning and in the afternoon in season (June – Sep), otherwise in the afternoon

Day 5: Hvar

Sunny Hvar, as the slogan reads, is characterized by gentle winters, warm summers and many hours of sunshine: see how the lavender fields and the vineyards stripe the bare Mediterranean landscape, descending gradually from black pine woods to white stoned bays. Enjoy the day at leisure. Overnight in Hvar. (B)

Day 6: Hvar – Korčula

Today you will be transferred to the Hvar pier to embark on the catamaran to Korčula. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your selected hotel in Korčula. The rest of the day is at leisure. Korčula has a legendary past, deemed by many as Marko Polo birthplace and before that as home to one of the Homeric heroes: this quaint island offers secluded little bays where to hide away, unspoilt natural beauties and small towns of red-roofed houses. Overnight in Korcula. (B)

Day 7: Korčula – Dubrovnik

In the afternoon you will be transferred to the pier in Korčula to embark on the ferry to Dubrovnik. Upon arrival to Dubrovnik, you will be transferred to your selected hotel in Dubrovnik. Day at leisure in Dubrovnik. Discover the charming city or book in advance your private tour (not included). Surrounded by ramparts and fortresses, this ancient town is a treasure trove of architectural and cultural masterpieces, carefully preserved over the centuries. Take a pleasant walk to the Rector’s Palace, the Franciscan Monastery with its 14th century Pharmacy, as well as to the other places of interest. Overnight in Dubrovnik. (B)
Note: In case of travelling with bus, departure is early in the morning and if travelling with shuttle bus (available only from June to September) departures are at 07:30 or 08:30 in the morning, depending on schedule

Day 8: Dubrovnik

Transfer to Dubrovnik airport, port or bus station. (B)
